Overview of Christian Business Forum

Empowering Christian Businesses

CBF was born on January 31, 2015 when 20 Bangalore delegates at Market Place Revolution 2015, (A Christian Market Place event organized by Partner’s Worldwide) came together and decided to form a Business Fellowship in Bangalore.

Our first meeting was in February 2015 and we have been meeting every month since then. Within the first three months based on member feedback, CBF decided to be different and focus on being a Community to Encourage, Empower & Equip Christian Business People.

This focus combined with the Lord’s guidance and faithfulness is what has contributed to the growth of CBF, from 20 people and one Chapter in 2015, to 7 Chapters and 435 members in 2024.

Inspiring Growth in Business

Being a forum, we operate on zero budget! We don’t have any earnings or donations or Bank Accounts. Yet we have created and facilitated mega events like MR18, and smaller one day events in Kolkata, Udupi, Kochi and Coimbatore for Christian Business People with the help of Partners and Sponsors.

We have strived to make every monthly meeting different and beneficial to Business People so as to ‘Encourage, Empower and Equip’ them in the Marketplace.

We use case studies, debates, quizzes, learning groups, videos, treasure hunts, games etc. in our monthly meetings to impart knowledge & learning to the CBF community.

We also Mentor small businesses and business people to shine in the Marketplace.

Building Partnerships for Marketplace Impact

CBF Membership is open to all Christians in Business or those Christians who are planning to start a Business in the next 3 to 6 months.

CBF is not the Marketplace thus you may not be able to find potential customers in the CBF community. We discourage anyone whose sole intention is to find customers among CBF community. The Christian Community is only 2% of the Marketplace thus we encourage you to find Partners in CBF to collaborate & co- create to reach the 98% of the Marketplace

Monthly Meetings

We meet every month for 90 minutes over Zoom or in person to Encourage, Empower & Equip Christian Business people. Meetings happen on pre-set days of the month in each Chapter. As mentioned earlier, we use various learning methodologies to help our members to delight their customers, grow their businesses and be a witness for Him in the Marketplace.

Weekly ‘Biz Prayer Time’

We meet every Thursday night at 8.30PM for 30 minutes over Zoom to pray for CBF Businesses. We pray for 18 CBF Business people every Thursday, for the Business challenges they are facing.

Lunch & Learn

Every other month we organize a learning session for CBF Members on Wednesdays from 1 to 2 PM over Zoom. Some of the topics we have covered thus far are, Problem Solving, Time Optimization, Digitalizing Your Business, How to get a Business Loan, How to market your offerings, Goal Setting, How to export your products Overseas, How to start a Business & grow it etc.
