Ashvin Dhyriam
Ashvin Dhyriam, Co-Founder and Managing Director of GoodNews Channel, is a Film Institute graduate who is currently operating 4 satellite TV channels in the Devotional category with a combined reach of about 180 million homes and counting. He has undergone broadcast training in Canada and is passionate about imparting media education.
- He has trained over 400 students who are placed in the TV industry and this training was done in collaboration with Bharadhidasan University and Race Loyola College.
- He worked as a Producer for Hope Channel, Germany.
- He is currently the Honorary Vice President of ICMA India through which, collaboratively, he has mentored and equipped young leaders, entrepreneurs and organisations to maximise and leverage the power and reach of media.
- He is also a recipient of the National Religious Broadcasters Media excellence award which was given in Tennessee, USA in 2015.
His latest innovative efforts include spearheading India's first Al production house for family and faith based storytelling along with his father, the visionary behind these efforts, Mr. Nehru Dhyriam.
Ashvin's interests include content creation, and mentoring media teams in audience-engaging content. Work is in progress for GoodNews to launch a global streaming platform. As the Managing Director of GoodNews Channel and GoodNews Digital, he is leading a team of 100 media professionals in Chennai and Hyderabad.
Ashvin's story is a one of an entrepreneur who availed a bank loan, started a broadcast studio and by God's immense grace has nurtured it to be what it is today. He gives all the credit to God and nothing else. Ashvin Dhyriam is married and has 3 children. He currently resides in Chennai, India.
